Psalm 57 — Our souls are housed by the untamed body. The continuing process of creation brings us to perfection and Abba keeps our soul safe through it all.
The practice of prayer at regular intervals throughout the day helps to establish a consistent sense of being grounded (secure). A regimen of meditation, study (reading scripture), petition and worship three to five times per day can evolve into a dynamic awareness of our Life Force’s Omni-presence and OMNIPOTENCE. Imagine what that could mean for your overall productivity and sense of mental and physical well-being!
Each day upon waking offer your time and talent — your life in service to our creator. The source of your life will in turn reveal to you the path to your greatest joy and fulfillment. Our creator awaits your surrender to gift you with all that is for you! Be brave and trust in the love of our Life Force more than you trust in what you think you know. Then be what you were created to be!
Suggested prayers:
Almighty Father,
you have brought us to the light of a new day: keep us safe the whole day through from every sinful inclination. May all our thoughts, words and actions aim at doing what is pleasing in your sight. Amen.

Good Morning Dear Lord
Thank you for the precious gift You have given me this morning -my life- to live fully and joyfully one more day! Please give me the grace to be kind and patient today that I may see beyond worldly appearances, so that I may encounter your holy presence in each person I meet.
Close my ears dear Father to all gossip. Seal my lips to all judgments and criticisms that my [thoughts and] words will only bless all about me and warm the coldest heart.
Let my actions be so just, my feelings be so tender, my conduct be so humble and true to your will that throughout this day I will be a reflection of your heavenly mercy and love.
AMEN
–Mother Antonia
Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with your holy gifts.
Let my weakness be penetrated with your strength this very day that I may fulfill the duties of my state in life conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just.
Let my charity be such as to offend no one and hurt no one’s feelings; so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me.
Assist me in all the trials of life, enlighten me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts, strengthen my weakness, help me in all needs and embarrassment, protect me in temptations and console me in all afflictions.
Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour your light into my heart, my soul and my mind. Assist me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace. AMEN
–Imprimatur: Samuel Cardinal Stritch
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
–St. Francis of Assisi
Now, take 10-20 minutes to meditate in stillness and quiet. This will start your day with a firm foundation of calmness, firm purpose, and security.
At the midpoint of your day pause again. Center yourself. Re-dedicate your life (time, talent and attention) to the service of our creator. This will bring you peace and clarity of thought. It will even your temperament, truly nourishing you. “Man [Woman] shall not live by bread alone…” Discuss your concerns of the day with Abba. Your Life Force wants to give you guidance and help your day to pass with purpose and reward. Here’s a good start:
Blessed be God, our Father, who protects his children and never spurns their prayers. Let us humbly implore him:
Enlighten us, Lord.
We thank you, Lord, for enlightening us through your Son,— fill us with his light throughout the day.
Let your wisdom lead us today, Lord, —that we may walk in the newness of life.
May we bear hardships with courage for your name’s sake, —and be generous in serving you.
Direct our thoughts, feelings and actions this day, —help us to follow your providential guidance.

Take at least 20 minutes to meditate in stillness and quiet.
Later in your day (before dinner) take some time to reflect and thank Abba for today’s experiences, challenges and growth. Be sure to take this moment to breath. It is necessary for our frail human form as we are subjected to stress of all kinds. Slow, deep breaths for about ten minutes.
At your bedtime hour take some time to contemplate your challenges, opportunities and accomplishments throughout the day. In what ways did you serve well? In what ways did you feel limited or less than your true self? Did emotions lead you or simply inform your choices? Talk to Abba. You will not find condemnation but comfort and gentle guidance. You will be lifted higher. You will find the heavenly hosts welcoming and awaiting these intimate encounters throughout your day.
Enjoy calm, peaceful music. Close your eyes and rest with a clear conscious and calm heart. You will sleep well. You will continue to be fed as you rest.
